A Tizio Terra floor lamp designed by Richard Sapper for Artemide in 1972. Part of MoMA's permanent collection, the Tizio became one of the most recognized lighting designs of the 20th century.

The lamp uses a counterweight balancing system. The arms move smoothly in any direction and hold their position without springs or friction joints. The current flows through the structure itself, eliminating visible wires.

The Tizio Terra is the floor version of the original desk lamp. It functions as both task lighting and a sculptural object in the space.
